Description:
Yelekkin (waistcoat turk. yelek) is made of dark-mauve velvet at the front and at the back, with a vertical opening at the front. The back and sides are made of a single piece of black velvet. The front consists of two equal pieces of dark-mauve velvet. At the lower part are button-holes trimmed with ribbon, to which are attached loops also made of ribbon. There is a V-shaped opening at the neck. On the right side is a pocket made of the same fabric embroidered with threads. The whole front part of the yelekkin is decorated with colourful threads, which create a variety of decorative motifs. The yelekkin is fully lined with white cotton material.
