The front consists of two equal pieces of mauve velvet. At the bottom are button holes trimmed with gaitania (braids), to which are attached loops made of gaitania and buttons braided of threads and ending in tassels. There is a semi-circular opening at the neck, around the inside of which is a striped seiriti (cords, ribbons turk. şirit/şerit). On the right side is a vase-shaped pocket made of black velvet decorated with gold and orange seiriti and above it an embroidered bird of green and orange colour. All the front part of the yelekkin is decorated with braids, seiritia and yellow and brown threads. The yelekkin is fully lined with white cotton.
