Description:
Yelekkin (waistcoat, turk. yelek) made of dark-mauve velvet at the front and at the back, with a vertical opening at the front. The back and sides are made of a single piece of black velvet. The vertical slit in the back is cross-fastened by a ribbon of black colour. The front consists of two equal pieces of dark-mauve velvet. At the bottom are button holes trimmed with ribbon, to which are attached loops made of ribbon. There is a V-shaped opening at the neck, around the inside of which is a ribbon. On the right side is a pocket made of the same fabric embroidered with threads. The whole front part of the yelekkin is decorated with black threads, which are used to create a variety of decorative motifs. The yelekkin is fully lined with white cotton material.
