Christodoulos Sozos (1872–1912), a Greek Cypriot politician and lawyer, is photographed with his wife, Ermioni Sozou, in a formal studio portrait. Sozos served as a member of the Cypriot Legislative Council (1901–1911), Mayor of Limassol (1908–1912), and Limassol–Paphos MP (1908–1912). On 7 November 1912, he voluntarily enlisted in the Greek Army as a private to fight in the First Balkan War, where he was killed in action on 6 December 1912. Christodoulos Sozos, seated on the left, is dressed in a dark formal suit paired with a waistcoat, white shirt, and bow tie. His polished shoes and neatly groomed beard and mustache complement his dignified demeanor. His posture, leaning slightly towards Ermioni, conveys both confidence and affection. Ermioni Sozou, seated on the right in an ornate chair, is elegantly attired in a light-colored dress with detailed embroidery and a high neckline adorned with lace. The bodice features intricate floral embellishments. Her hair is styled in an elaborate updo, reflecting the sophisticated fashion of the early 20th century.
