Photograph of Yeghsapet Eramian (née Stepanian), taken in a studio in 1898. She was the great-granddaughter of Sarkis Agha, and the daughter of Stepan Agha Krikorian and Heghine Boghossian (Philipposian). She was married to Boghos Eramian (1840-1918), who was a senior government official. Their first child was born in 1867. Yeghsapet died in Nicosia or in Dheftera in 1927. In the photograph the respectable, middle-aged lady is wearing a long wide skirt made from a dark-coloured material and a tailored, collared long jacket with slightly puffed long sleeves. The jacket is closed in front with a series of buttons. Both the skirt and the jacket are made of the same thick, shiny dark cloth. A black headscarf covers most of her brown hair.

This photograph depicts Teodolinda and Margarita Carletti (mother and daughter) c. 1880. Teodolinda is wearing a long-sleeved dress with a collar. The dress appears to be made of a bright, light material with stripes and many folds on the lower part. She is also wearing a jacket made from a dark thick fabric. The jacket is decorated on the cuffs and the buttonholes with appliqué embroidery. She has an elaborate coiffure, with most of her hair pinned up, while part of it is falling on the right shoulder and her back. She is also wearing small earrings.

Margarita is wearing a dress and a sleeved jacket similar in style to her mother’s, however it has a light colour and it is made of a different material, which seems to be the same with the fabric of the dress.

The photograph depicts Annig Bedelian (née Nigogossian) on her wedding day. She is wearing a long lace covered western-style dress with long sleeves, and white gloves. The upper part of the chest up to the neckline and the arms are covered only with the transparent lace fabric. The long veil that is attached to the flower crown on her head reaches all the way to the floor. Lipstick and light eye-make up, as well as the bouquet of flowers, complete her wedding look.

The photograph shows Annig Bedelian (née Nigogossian, 1914-1955). She is wearing a western-style summer dress, with short sleeves and printed flower patterns. The dress is tucked in at the waist with a belt of the same fabric, tied in the back with a bow. She is also wearing white shoes with low heels and a strap.

A photograph of Caroline Taylor (née Carletti) in the 1960s. She is wearing an elegant European-style white dress with elbow-length sleeves and a narrow belt around her waist. The dress has a high collar with a V-shaped décolleté and it is decorated with a butterfly brooch. She is also wearing elaborate earrings and a watch on her left wrist. Her hair is styled short.

This photograph depicts sisters Clementine & Gloria Carletti c. 1950. Clementine, on the left, is wearing a dress made of a dark-coloured fabric, covered in small white floral patterns. It is decorated with a ruffled collar, which has been tied up with a thin ribbon in the front. Her sister, Gloria, on the right, is wearing a top made of the same material as her sister’s dress, however she is also wearing a white shirt with a high collar and two bows. Her hair is also decorated with a dark-coloured ribbon.

The photo shows two young sisters, Anahid and Asdghig Oundjian in 1942. It appears that Anahid is the one standing and Asdghig is sitting. They are both wearing floor-length western-style dresses with puffed, short, sheer sleeves, a sheer over-skirt and a high rounded off neckline. Furthermore, Anahid has what appears to be two butterfly appliqués, one on her waist and one on her shoulder. She is also wearing a pearl bracelet and a traditional headpiece that is also covered in pearls. Asdghig is wearing jewellery in the form of a medium-length necklace with a cross and the same traditional headpiece. Both of them are also wearing make-up, a dark lipstick and eye shadow, and have their hair pinned back. Based on their clothes, we can assume that they intended on going to an event of some importance, probably religious, since dressing up was usually connected to church events, weddings or holy communion.

This photograph shows two young girls in a garden, dressed in light-coloured clothes. The photograph was taken on the 25th of February 1925. The girl on the left is wearing a long-sleeved blouse decorated with a broad collar tied with a dark ribbon, and a knee-length skirt with a dark-coloured belt around the waist, from which a handheld fan is hanging. She is also wearing stockings and white shoes with a strap. She is holding what one may assume to be musical notes. Her musical companion with the guitar on the right is also wearing a long-sleeved blouse and a skirt that is almost floor length. The lower part of the skirt is embellished with an attached broad band of darker fabric; from her belt, which is covered by the guitar in the photograph, a handheld fan is also hanging.
